Meditation of OM is done in three steps
First Om is chanted audibly .
The vibration of the sound is said to centre and still the mind .
The second step is to chant OM only mentally .
This can provide a focus for the mind and can be done all the time .
The final step is to be silent and listen only for Om to come back .
